With a view to the increase in demand for passports and to provide easy and efficient access to passport facilities, the government of India launched the Passport Seva Project in May,2010. The Passport Seva Project is an initiative by the Ministry of External Affairs and aims to provide better passport services by coordinating with the passport offices and the state police to speed up the process and ensure to apply a unified approach to the increasing globalization.
